16. Bootlegged a concert for the internet

Tonight, my wife, sister and I ventured down to Lexington to see Saving Abel, Seether and Nickelback. It was a great concert, but there was too many lines to wait in. We missed Saving Abel completely and also missed about 1/3 of Seether. One thing that I noticed is that everyone tries to take pictures at concerts with their camera phone. Wow.. those always turn out great, Not! So I decided to try and stream a portion of the concert on my iphone to Qik.com. Did it work??
Not really, it was overmodulated on the sound and the video was choppy.

14. Read about my cousin in the paper.

And what do I find at the end of the zine, an article about my cousin. It was about his likes and dislikes.. his dogs, and what he does. One thing that I learned about him is that he likes watching paranormal state. God, that is a horrible show.

12. Visited a local Mexican establishment for Dinner

Today I went to a new restaurant that I have only heard about, and seen from the road. It's name is La Rosita. A very tiny restaurant in the heart of New Albany, IN. They first served us chip and salsa. The salsa came in 3 bottles. Green, Light red and a dark red. The green was a very mild sauce. The dark red had more of a kick, and the light red set your mouth on fire.

Next I ordered the Campechana Quesadilla, which is Fresh super-sized flour tortilla filled with steak, chorizo (Mexican sausage), and melted cheese, then topped with
onions, cilantro and a little kick of lime.
It was very tasty. If you are in the order, check it out.

11. Donated Girl Scout cookies to the troops

Today was my father's birthday, so I stopped by the local Kroger's to get him his favorite box of girl scout cookies ( Do-si-Dos). Well purchasing them, I decided to help out the troops and buy a box for them. I know I would be stoked if I was fighting a war, and received some cookies from back home.

10. Put a Diaper on my dog

Well it seems that part of my new things everyday revolves around my dogs. Currently we are having a pissing war with 2 of the 3 dogs that we own. They are a corgi, Maltese and a German Shep Mix. The maltese being the oldest is our interior decorator, and if there is a box or piece of item on the floor that should not be there, he pisses on it. Now the corgi, not liking to be dominated, goes behind and covers the sent with his piss. So we are constantly trying to stop the war.

Finally a solution came. The Doggie Diaper. Now Deputy, the Maltese, can lift his leg and we have no mess. Yes it is not fun to change a dogs diaper, but if it stops the piss war, I am so for it!

9. Used my iPhone as a GPS

Awwww.. the wonderful iPhone. Some call it the Jesus phone. It does everything you need. Now with the 3G version, it has GPS, but the GPS is not all that great. Using google maps, you can find resturants and get your current location. But what about voice Turn by Turn direction? Not allowed by Apple. So the iphone is not a true GPS? Well, it might be!

I am currently using a program called xGPS for my phone. It allows turn by turn direction, and with the new update will be voice promopts. Super Sweet! So today I tracked my voyage from my house to the High School we were covering for a basketball game. I used the Iphone to get me there all on it is on. I have to say, except for one time where the system lost it connection, it got me there easily.

8. Joined a celebrities Twittier

Today, I decided to follow a celebrity. Using Twitter, I was able to read all the inner most secrets of today's celebrities. Interesting to note, there are many that you can follow, From Brittney Spears to John Mcain to Shaq, all of these people Twitter everyday, and give you little insights into their lives.

So who do I follow. The man who is too legit to quit, MC Hammer. So I got to follow Hammer's trip to Harvard Business School, which I am not sure that Hammer is the right person to be speaking to them unless it is about how to lose all your money.

Please Hammer Dont Hurt Them.

Do you want to follow Hammer, than you can!

6. Watch my dog attack an Opossum.

Now, I want to point out that this was never planned in any way. It actually scared me to see my dog dealing with an opossum.

This evening, our middle dog, Einstein the Corgi, decided to attack a huge, I mean HUGE opossum last night. We have seen this opossum a couple of times. One time being when his butt was stuck in our fence. Well this evening, he must have climbed up on our back deck and was hanging out. When Ein went out side, he pinned the opossum. As soon as I heard the commotion, I yelled for Ein to come back inside. At this point, the opossum made a break for it. Ein did not allow that, and bit the opossum in the neck. By this time, I yelled for him to get inside and the opossum look surprised as hell. Einstein came back in after defending the property and the opossum took off.

5. Scraped my windows with my work ID

Well this morning, I was stuck using my wife's car to head to work ( she had the unlucky task of taking 3 dogs to the vet this day) So when I headed out to work, there was a nice deposit of ice on the windows. I did not have a scraper ( she has used a cup in the past) so I pulled out my trust work ID and scrapped the windows. Was not to bad, luckily the ice storm was 3 weeks ago , and not today.

4. Played on a Wii Fit

Today, I was able to for the first time use the Wii Fit. My wife and I had received the Wii fit for Christmas from her mother. Unfortunately, I did not meet the weight requirement to play with the fit. So starting in Jan., I began Weight Watchers to lose weight (goal is to get to 230lbs) So today I was thrilled to finally be able to use the Wii fit. Now my weight lose was not motivated to use the wii fit, but to just be heathier. The Wii fit allows you to do many things: Yoga, hula hoop, walk a tight rope, and jog, just to mention a few. Let's see where it takes me in a month.

3. Own a guitar

I have never been a big musician. I once had a drum set, but never got around learning how to play, So most of time was banging on my drums while I listened to Metallica or Anthrax. I love to sing, but my wife always asked why I did not play the guitar. Stating " I think you would look sexy playing the guitar", so how could resist. Well today, when I got home from all the Valentine activities, which include getting a new tattoo and a nice dinner, my guitar was waiting to be unpacked.
I am starting with a very cheap guitar, and I hope to move up. Maybe sometime this year I can added play a song on a guitar.

2. See Friday the 13th on Friday the 13th

Growing up , I was a huge horror fan (still am, but a bigger Japanese Horror) and one of my idea birthdays was to have a Friday the 13th party. Since It only comes around maybe every 12 years, I had to take my chance. I was stoked as hell to find out the new Jason movie would be coming out on my birthday. I guess the only problem with the evening was getting stucked in the front room of the thearte with a group of seven year old girls talking the entire movie.

1. Receive Flowers at work

Ok, so this is going to start a day early. At work today, my office received a delivery of flowers from FTD. Figuring it was for one of the ladies in the office, I declared that someone was getting flowers today. To my surprise, it had my name on it. All the women starred at the flowers. One of my co-workers suggested I walk around the building and show them off to make many of the women jealous (or get their SO in trouble)
So I thank my wife for a huge surprise and to start off the blog.
Thanks Jenn.

Ok I failed.. Epic Failed

I tried to do something different that I have never done in my life each day for a year. I stopped after 10 days. I think my life got so busy during that time, that I was not able to be faithful to the blog. So here it goes again.. for the last time.. do or Die!
This will start on Feb 13, 2009, my birthday, and will end Feb 13, 2010.
