6. Directed Ohio Valley Wrestling

I have worked for OVW for the past seven years. I have done everything from camera to editor. In recent weeks I was directing Derby City Wrestling. Finally tonight, I was able to sit in the director's chair and direct, technical direct, audio, and edit the show. It was fun but tasking. I think I will do it again next week.

5. Fail trying to close a pool

Well, this summer we bought a pool. When we moved into the house last Sept, it had a deck for a pool, but no pool. So this year we decided to either tear down the deck or put up a pool. The pool won out and we enjoyed it most of the summer. Now the dreaded winter closing is upon us, so I tried following a few directions to close it, but apparently failed. Now I have to refill the pool back up and add more checmicals, than drain it again and put a cover over it. It is very intimidating.
The pool should have been closed a month or so ago, but now it is almsot Nov.

4. Let someone order my entire meal without input

Well, most of us as a child had our meals order for us, but I would expect not many of us as adults had our meal ordered.
So tonight, my wife had the luxury of ordering my entire meal. I told her to pick the restaurant, the meal and my drink. She was also had the ability to order refills or any additional sides that I might eat. Jenn decided to go to Tumbleweed for dinner. Luckily we got there before the 99cent margarita night kicked in.
Jenn went with an order of chicken faitas extra dressing and a mr. pibb for me to drink (top pick for the soda) It was very enjoyable, but I think she felt a little weird ordering for someone else and was worried about what I would eat. Jenn did a fine job, she is awesome.

3. Watch a sporting event entirely on Internet
So today, I decided to try and watch a football game on the web. I dont have the luxury of being able to watch any NFL game. I also did not want to sit at a crowded bar and watch the game on a tiny tv across from the ball. Understand, I have the difficult fate of being an Atlanta Falcons fan, which means very little TV coverage locally.
So I sat in front of my computer for 3 1/2 hours watching the Falcons get robbed by the NFL refs.
Little frustrated, but there is always next week.

2. Take a picture with a complete Stranger
Another day of performing Night of the Living Dead, and I was stuck with what would I do today. My second day actually just popped up on me. As I was walking towards my car, I heard a family talking about getting a picture with one of the zombies. I happend to be next to them, so they asked if I would be in the picture. I quickly joked that I get paid for all pictures, but submitted very easily. It was a group of little boys, and the smallest was in front of me. So I acted like I was taking a big bite out of the top of his head. It was the first time that I posed with complete strangers.

Today is the Day

Today is the day. A few months back, I read about a blog which detailed a lady's life where she did something that she had never done, everyday for an entire year. This seemed very interesting and at the same time a challenge. Could I really come up with something I have never done each day?
So I started to think about all the things that I have done in my life. I have ghost hunted, gone on a cruise and went to a few different countries, hosted a TV show and a radio show, and made a movie in 48 hours. So What can I do?
1. Act in a play.
Tonight, I performed in the Night of the Living Dead Play, which was put on by Stage One. I have been training for this night for the past month and a half. Stage One created a training session called Zombie University. Zombie U taught adults and kids about acting, character development, set design, makeup and direction. The past week we had Tech Rehearsal which lasted for 5 hours each day, Monday thru Thursday.
I will be performing the play on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Everyday, caked in makeup, I went through my scenes. The night was chilling cold, but this was after all the zombies were stuffed in the greenroom. The windows in the greenroom were visible outside, so it looked like a big zombie zoo. We had different types of zombies, dead paperboys, a wedding party, a group of nuns and a priest and few food workers ( I myself was a zombie chef).
I hit my marks and even tore down part of the set in the fight sequence with the characters of Ben and Helen. I had a blast.
